Behind the Camera

My name is Shannon Henige. I am a retired middle school teacher and coach, turned photographer.  Photography has been in my blood since birth. In the 1930's, my grandfather was developing his own photos in a darkroom in his house, and my mother was always the event photographer when I was growing up, documenting anything that happened in the family. Muddy Waters Photography happened by chance when I bought my first good camera to document my son's milestones, but could never put the camera down. In the years to come, I hope you enjoy all that my lens has to offer.
